CREATIVE WELLNESS:
Connecting With Your Inner Artist for a Happier, Healthier YOU

Are you looking for new ways to boost your health and regulate your nervous system? Between work, family, and other obligations, it can be challenging to find time to take care of yourself. But what if I told you there was a quick and simple way to boost your health and happiness?💁🏻‍♀️

Enter creative wellness...

Creative wellness is all about incorporating creative and artistic activities into your daily routine. You don't have to be a professional artist to benefit from it – just letting your inner creativity flow can do wonders for your well-being. We're talking 10-15 minuets a day that can completely shift your energy!

Check out just some of the benefits of having a creative wellness practice...

  • Reduced Stress: Life can be overwhelming, but taking a break to engage in a creative activity can help you relax and unwind. Whether you're painting, writing, or playing music, the act of creating something can be incredibly calming and centering.
  • Improved Mood: Engaging in a creative activity releases endorphins – those feel-good chemicals in the brain – which can boost your mood and leave you feeling happier and more positive.
  • Increased Self-Expression: Creativity allows you to express yourself in new and unique ways. It can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-expression, and can help you better understand your own thoughts and emotions.
  • Boosted Brainpower: Engaging in creative activities can improve cognitive function and increase brain activity. It can also help you think more creatively and problem-solve more effectively.

So, what are some examples of creative wellness activities? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Painting or drawing
  • Writing (journaling, poetry, fiction, etc.)
  • Playing an instrument or singing
  • Dancing or taking a fitness class
  • Cooking or baking
  • Gardening or nature walks
  • DIY projects or crafting

Really, the possibilities are endless – all that matters is that you find a creative outlet that works for you! And don't be afraid to experiment and try new things – you never know what you might discover. 😅 My favorite... a mini dance break.  5-10 minutes of your favorite songs and bam! Complete shift.

Ultimately, creative wellness is all about connecting within. Bringing joy and self discovery back into your life. So please, next time you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed, take a break and tune into your inner artist self. Your body, mind and creative spirit will thank you!
