Q & A
How much time & space do I need to commit to La Luna? Time: You need a minimum of 30-75 minutes a week to dedicate to your creative practice. The bi-monthly Zoom calls will be 60-75 minutes in length. On the opposite weeks, you need to commit to a minimum of 30 minutes per week to your creative practice which will be supported by invitations and prompts to nurture your art making.
Space: You need a small amount of clear space to be able to move about in. Nothing fancy or large, but just a clear space near where you will participate in the Zoom calls with plus a space/table for art-making.
What is the investment to participate in La Luna? La Luna is a 5 month commitment. You can pay upfront for the full 5 months for $160 USD or pay monthly at $38 USD a month (with commitment to the full 5 months). Payments are to be made via PayPal @sarahlovatowolfe An invoice will be emailed to you after registration. How much will I need to invest in materials? And what materials should I get? You can most likely work with what you already have (as simple as paper and a set of crayons or markers) or invest in some delicious new art materials. I will go over what supplies are essential via video that will be sent to you after registration & payment.
Do I need to have prior experience in movement or art? No. Not at all. La Luna is open to all levels. Beginning to advanced. La Luna is designed for people who want to connect with their feminine energy and creativity through movement and visual art elements. La Luna is for anyone who wants to enhance or begin a nourishing creative practice and is open to trying new ideas in a playful way!
Do I need to be a woman to participate? La Luna is open to all sexual orientations. We all possess masculine and feminine energy regardless of our gender identity. This offering is for anyone who wishes to tap into and deepen their relationship with their feminine energy.
Why is movement and breath work put in connection to art-making? Intuitive art-making is all about tapping into your inner voice and intuition. By moving, dancing and connecting with our breath, we move energy and are able to better connect to our intuition.
What if I can’t make all the Zoom calls? No worries. Each Zoom call will be recorded and available for you through May 31st 2022. It is ideal that you can make the majority of the live calls though as part of the beauty of La Luna is being in a creative community together.
Why aren’t all the Zoom calls on the exact days of the new and/or full moon? Most of the live calls are aligned in sync with the new and full moon. Some live calls are a day or two off but have no fear…. we can still catch the energy and stay with the rhythm of the moon. 🌚🌝 Also, due to the holiday season our very first Live call will be on Jan. 11th 2022, a half moon. 🌗
What platforms will the LaLuna Community meet on? We will be using a private FaceBook group page for our La Luna community connection.
